COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS
How we act can make a difference
KEEP DISTANCE
We keep a minimum of 2 meters distance, both to guests and staff members at The Eleven!
NO PHYSICAL CONTACT
Even though we might feel like long lost friends there will be no handshakes, cheek kisses, and hugs.
NO MORE THAN 10 PEOPLE
As we also live on the property we’ll ensure there are no more than 10 people at The Eleven at all times.
WASH & SANITIZE HANDS
We wash hands frequently and use sanitizer, we encourage our guests to do the same. In public areas or in town please use hand sanitizer.
CLEAN SURFACES
We clean and disinfect all surfaces multiple times before your arrival. Please continue cleaning your surfaces during your stay to keep it safe for our staff and other guests.
What we do at the Eleven for securing the safety of our guests
– We follow the guidelines and recommendations of local authorities
– Our staff has been provided with information about COVID-19 and how to
manage a safe working environment
– Increased focus on hand hygiene
– Increased cleaning and hygiene protocols
– Regular disinfection of exposed surfaces such as door handles and key
lockboxes with an anti-bacterial spray
– There is disinfectant spray in all bathrooms and kitchen area
WHAT CAN OUR GUEST DO TO PROTECT THEMSELVES AS WELL AS OTHERS FROM THE VIRUS
– Place shoes in the outside wooden box at each unit entrance
– Frequent hand washing
– Have hand disinfection ready
– Avoid unnecessary hand contact
– Avoid touching eyes, mouth and nose
– Cover the mouth with the elbow when coughing and sneezing
– Keep at least one meter away from coughing or sneezing person
The Eleven Self-catering Guest House is open and will operate as normal. Safety is our main priority and we are taking every precaution in order for our guests to feel safe when staying or visiting Plettenberg Bay.
